تحدث عبد المنعم شطة لاعب الأهلي الأسبق وعضو اللجنة الفنية بالاتحاد الافريقي لكرة القدم عن إمكانية تأجيل مباراة نهائي دوري أبطال افريقيا بين الأهلي والزمالك المقرر لها مساء الجمعة المقبل بسبب إصابات كورونا.

وقال شطة في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “تن” عبر برنامج “رأي عام”: “أحمد ياسر ريان لا يلعب في الأهلي وهو عائد من إعارة، إذا كنا نريد أن نوجه رسالة لـ الكاف أنه لدينا إصابات كورونا فلا يجب أن نذكره، أنا أتعامل مع رسميات وأمور خاصة بالإصابات، هناك محمود كهربا ووليد سليمان وصالح جمعة مصابين بكورونا”.

وأضاف: “وليد وكهربا قوة ضاربة، هما مهمين جدًا في المباراة، والتأجيلات التي تمت في الفترة الأخيرة عطلت نهائي إفريقيا”.

وأردف: “الاتحاد الإفريقي حدد 40 لاعبًا لكل نادٍ، وقال لو تبقي من الـ40 لاعبًا 11 و3 احتياطيين في الفريق يستطيع خوض المباراة، وإلا يعتبر النادي منسحب، وهذا يعتبر قرار سليم”.

وتابع: “الأهلي سيخسر اثنين من أعمدته وهما وليد سليمان وكهربا، لكن النهائي سيقام تحت أي ظرف من الظروف، هناك قائمة فيها 40 لاعبًا اعتبرهم مصابين إصابات ملعب وليست كورونا”.

وواصل: “وليد سليمان في الفترة الحالية مصاب بشد، والأهلي يمتلك فريقًا قويًا قادر على خوض المباراة، الأهلي لن يقف على لاعب أو اثنين، ويمتلك أكثر من 20 أو 22 لاعبًا جاهزين للنهائي”.

واستكمل: “لا أستبعد تأجيل المباراة تحت أي ظرف، ولكن عدد المصابين بكورونا لا يستحق أن أذكره للاتحاد الإفريقي، وأشك أن الأهلي سيطلب تأجيل النهائي، لأنه يمتلك لاعبين مميزين”.

واختتم: “أتمنى عدم زيادة المصابين بكورونا في الأهلي، ولابد أن يحرص اللاعبين ويرتدون الكمامات ويبتعدوا عن الاختلاط، وأن يطبقوا كل الإجراءات الاحترازية في الفترة المقبلة”.

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Jordan Henderson’s influence in the 2018/19 campaign.

The England international found himself out of the team at times in the first half of the campaign after Fabinho settled into the No.6 role, before a conversation with Jurgen Klopp saw Henderson given more game time as a No.8 higher up the field.

Luis Suarez certainly had no qualms about celebrating against his former employers in the video below…

Klopp’s faith was almost immediately rewarded as the former Sunderland man netted a vital goal away to Southampton, whilst also recording an assist in the same game; he went on to notch three more assists in the next five matches.

Henderson has since played a massive role in helping his side make a second successive Champions League final, ending the 4-0 semi-final win sprawled out on the Anfield turf having used every ounce of his energy.

His turnaround has been inspirational, and the Liverpool supporters on Twitter have taken the time to comment on his season…

وجاء بيان برشلونة على النحو التالي:

“يعاني جيرارد بيكيه من التواء في الركبة اليمنى، وفي انتظار إجراء مزيد من الاختبارات لتحديد مدى الإصابة بدقة”.

ولم يكشف برشلونة عن مدة غياب الثنائي، لكن صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية تتكهن بغياب بيكيه لمدة شهرين، وغياب روبيرتو لمدة شهر.

أما صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية، أشارت إلى أن هناك احتمال بغياب بيكيه لمدة تتراوح من أربعة إلى ستة أشهر (طالع المزيد).

يُذكر أن برشلونة تعرض للهزيمة أمام أتلتيكو مدريد بهدف دون رد في منافسات الجولة العاشرة لليجا.

It was edging towards extra-time as the play-off final between Charlton and Sunderland fizzled out into a typical League One affair.

Little quality on show, a lot of hard graft and effort, but very few opportunities in front of goal to show for it.

That was until Lee Bowyer subbed on Jonny Williams for the last 19 minutes of normal time.

The Welsh international, formerly of Charlton’s south London rivals Crystal Palace, set about carrying the ball forward and taking the game to the opposition like he has done throughout his career.

Typically for the diminutive dribbler, Williams found himself spending more time on the Wembley turf than he did on his feet due to persistent fouling from the Black Cats players, but only because of how threatening the Charlton man was proving to be.

Within minutes of coming on, the 25-year-old embarked on a number of dangerous dribbles and put some inviting crosses into the box; it was quickly apparent that Bowyer was going for the win.

Williams continued to run at the Sunderland defence despite constantly being kicked, playing two key passes as the south London side eventually found a way through thanks to Patrick Bauer’s 95th-minute strike.

Having spent time on loan with Sunderland and even coming onto the field with warm applause showering down from the Black Cats’ section, it must’ve been a bittersweet moment for Williams to see a club close to his heart lose the game in the worst way possible.

This is the second play-off final success that Williams has been a part of, winning the Championship version with Palace back in 2013, and it is clear that the Welshman is the man for the big occasion.

At a time where his side really needed him, Williams helped bring some inventiveness and creativity to an affair devoid of such features; Bowyer definitely owes him a pint for his efforts.

Rangers fans have been discussing the prospect of re-signing former Ibrox star Steven Naismith this summer, with his contract at Hearts expiring at the end of the season.

As reported by The Daily Record’s live transfer blog on Wednesday, there have been social media rumours that the attacker could be heading back to Glasgow seven years after departing for Everton, rumours that the outlet reckon are nonsense.

Nonetheless it’s been a hot topic amongst supporters over the last 24 hours and likely will be until the forward signs a new deal at Tynecastle.

Naismith scored 14 goals in 27 appearances for the Jam Tarts this season but missed much of it through injury and at 32 years of age there are question marks about his ability to play the dozens of games required to be an important player for a big club like Rangers.

Other fans also haven’t forgiven the player for leaving the club during a period of financial calamity in 2012.

وأضاف: “هناك أيضًا أمر غريب وهو تألق فاسكيز في مركز الجناح بمباراة إنتر ميلان، ولكن زيدان دفع به في مركز مغاير (الظهير الأيمن) ولم يكن ذلك صحيحًا”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “تمتلك ميليتاو ويمكنك الاستعانة به في مركز الظهير بدلًا من فاسكيز، ولكني لا أعرف ما مشكلة زيدان مع هذا اللاعب لأنها لا يلعب كقلب دفاع أو كظهير ويعتمد على فاسكيز مع وجود أسينسيو في الجناح وهو لا يجيد المساندة الدفاعية”.

Arsenal fans, if all you want to hear about is links to the latest wonderkid defender, look away now. You may already have Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but according to Sky Sports, the Gunners are in for another striker.

The young CSKA Moscow man Fedor Chalov is the striker in question, and whilst no one is doubting his credentials as an out and out goalscorer, he just isn’t what is needed at the Emirates considering their current crisis at the back.

What’s the story?

Sky Sports are linking the Gunners with a move for 21-year-old Russian Premier League Golden Boot winner Chalov.

The report claims that the Gunners are rivalled in their interest in Chalov by both Monaco and Sevilla, while also pointing out that the hitman has three years left on his deal with CSKA.

Considering the youngster’s age and goalscoring record, this could prove to be a pricey deal for Unai Emery, although there’s no mention of a fee in the report.

Arsenal fans have seen him up close too, as he actually scored against them in their Europa League clash with CSKA back in the 2017/18 season.

Unneeded Quality

The first priority for Emery right now is of course his defence. In the last Premier League season, the Gunners shipped 51 goals in the 38 games, ranking 8th out of the top ten clubs, and that is not the sort of stat that gets you into the Champions League.

Emery has the firepower at his disposal to bag plenty at the other end, so bringing in a means of scoring more just doesn’t seem like a wise use of the club’s measly finances.

There’s no reason why Chalov shouldn’t sign, we just don’t think it’s a safe option to bring the Russian in until the defensive issues have been fixed first.

There is no point blowing part of the transfer budget on an inexperienced 21-year-old striker when you’ve got Shkodran Mustafi in your starting line-up, it’s really that simple.

There will be a lot of changes at Arsenal this summer and Chalov would undoubtedly be a good signing if it happened. With so many problems to fix at the other end of the pitch though, Emery has bigger fish to fry and should forget about the young Russian for now.

According to The Mirror, Aston Villa are one of a number of teams interested in Liverpool’s Harry Wilson.

What’s the word?

After achieving promotion from the Championship, Dean Smith has already been busy in the transfer market, signing Anwar El Ghazi permanently whilst also adding Jota to his ranks.

The Villans will clearly need to strengthen ahead of a return to the Premier League but spending big could be a cause for concern after seeing Fulham spend over £100m, only to be relegated.

One player who could make a move for an expensive fee though is Liverpool’s Wilson.

The Mirror claim that the Merseyside club have an interest in the winger who could leave for £21m, per the report.

However, there is plenty of interest in the player so convincing him to join may not be straightforward. Valencia and Getafe are also interested whilst Leicester and Rangers are also possible destinations according to The Mirror.

Mirroring El Ghazi

One of Villa’s main problems this season has been in a wide area. El Ghazi was their most productive winger, scoring six and also claiming the same number of assists.

Boasting the ability to cut inside, he was a constant threat on the left flank, causing numerous problems to opposition defenders.

His form in the final stages of the season was impressive, even scoring in the play-off final.

But it’s on the right where Villa’s wide men have struggled and as a result, the signing of Wilson could be an instant fix.

On loan at Derby last term, he found the net 16 times. In comparison, Andre Green and Albert Adomah only netted three between them.

A left footed player, the Liverpool man could mirror El Ghazi’s threat but from the opposite wing.

The 22-year-old played in a number of positions but it was on the right where he was arguably most impressive – leading to eight of his Championship goals.

He’d regularly cut inside, just as Villa’s most recent signing has done on a regular basis, either carving out opportunities for his teammates or finding the net himself.

Should he join, Wilson’s direct nature will significantly improve Villa’s attack and create impressive symmetry with El Ghazi on the opposite flank.

كشفت تقارير صحفية فرنسية أن نادي يوفنتوس كان قريبًا للغاية من التعاقد مع لاعب ليون حسام عوار، في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الماضي، قبل أن تفشل الصفقة في النهاية بسبب أحد لاعبي بطل الدوري الإيطالي.

وارتبط عوار بخطوة الرحيل عن ليون، في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية، مع تواجده على رادار العديد من الأندية مثل آرسنال ومانشستر سيتي ويوفنتوس.

وكان آرسنال أكثر الأندية رغبة في ضم عوار حيث قدم بالفعل أكثر من عرض، ولكن إدارة ليون رفضته لانخفاض قيمته المالية.

ولكن صحيفة “ليكيب” الفرنسية أكدت أن يوفنتوس كان الأقرب للظفر بخدمات حسام عوار، مشيرة إلى أن الصفقة كانت قريبة بالفعل.

ولفتت إلى أن يوفنتوس كان ينوي دفع 55 مليون يورو لـ ليون، إلى جانب تضمين اللاعب فيديريكو بيرنارديسكي في الصفقة نفسها، للحصول على خدمات عوار.

وأكدت أن يوفنتوس لجأ إلى استغلال بيرنارديسكي في محاولة من النادي لتخفيض الرسوم المالية للصفقة، خاصة في ظل الآثار السلبية التي يعاني منها الأندية نتيجة تفشي كورونا.

وأفادت أنه تم تسوية كل شيء مع عوار الذي تخيل نفسه بالفعل في يوفنتوس، قبل أن تفشل الصفقة في النهاية بسبب بيرنارديسكي.

وأوضحت أن بيرنارديسكي رفضت فكرة الرحيل عن يوفنتوس والانتقال إلى ليون على سبيل الإعارة، وهو ما أدى إلى توقف كل شيء.
