أكدت صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية، أن هناك تشاؤم في برشلونة بشأن طبيعة إصابة جوردي ألبا، ومدة غيابه المتوقعة.

ظهير البارسا تعرض لإصابة في مباراة برشلونة وإشبيلية التي انتهت بالتعادل (1-1) في الجولة الخامسة لليجا.

وقام رونالد كومان باستبدال ألبا وشارك سيرجينيو ديست بديلا له في الدقيقة 75، وأصدر برشلونة بيانًا بشأن إصابته، طالع البيان من هنا.

توضح “آس”، أنه بعد الفحص الأول في غرفة خلع الملابس، هناك خشية من إصابة ألبا بتمزق محتمل في العضلة ذات الرأسين الفخذية في الساق اليمنى.

إذا تم التأكيد، فسنتحدث في أفضل الأحوال عن أن ألبا سيغيب لمدة تصل بين أسبوعين إلى ثلاثة أسابيع.

توجد الآن فترة توقف دولية بسبب التزامات المنتخبات الوطنية، لذلك لن يتم استئناف الليجا حتى 17 أكتوبر.

هذا الموقف من شأنه أن يمنح ألبا وقتًا للتعافي، وفي الوقت الحالي تتمثل الأولوية في إمكانية استعادة ألبا في 24 أكتوبر من أجل الكلاسيكو أمام ريال مدريد، وقبل مواجهة يوفنتوس في دوري أبطال أوروبا، المقرر لها 28 من الشهر ذاته.

Rangers welcome Kilmarnock to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, and Steven Gerrard should axe Joe Worrall from the side once and for all.

What’s the word?

The Gers may not want to admit it yet, but their quest for silverware this season is most likely over.

Arch-rivals Celtic only have to earn five more points in their final four games of the campaign to lock up their eighth league title in a row, and Gerrard has likely already got one eye on next season.

That said, the gaffer should axe Worrall from the team on Saturday, as the youngster is expected to return to Nottingham Forest at the end of the season, meaning it bears no benefit to the Gers to keep playing him.

When asked about his future back in February, Worrall said: “I believe I should be playing at Forest but to play under Steven Gerrard at Rangers is incredible.

“But as for signing permanently, if they want to buy me for £30m in the summer, then that would be fantastic!

“If not, I’ll be happy to go back to Forest. I want to win something here. It was the first thing the manager and the lads said to me when I walked in the door.

“I’m only here for a season but it’s vital for the club – because of what they’ve gone through – to get to finals and challenge for the league.”

Of course, Rangers do not have £30m to spend on a centre back, especially a centre back that can’t even be trusted – the last time the Gers faced Kilmarnock in the league they lost 2-1, with Worrall putting in a truly woeful performance.

While £30m is a light-hearted, exaggerated sum offered by the 22 year-old, he has been capped at multiple youth levels for England, so he would likely cost a hefty fee.

That said, Gerrard should focus on developing Nikola Katic, who at the start of the season looked set to form a dominant pairing with Connor Goldson.

The Croatian’s form faltered and he lost his place to Worrall, but the fact that he was never brought back in despite loads of poor performances from the Forest man is inexplicable, especially as fans continually fumed at Worrall’s disastrous showings.

Fans have previously said they would prefer to see the 22 year-old Katic partner Goldson than Worrall, and they were right. Gerrard must now recognise the chance to get a leg up on next season by developing the partnership between Katic and Goldson, accepting that the Ibrox faithful have proved him wrong on this one.

وواصل الصقر حديثه قائلا: “أعتقد أن المغربي وليد أزارو سيكون له مكان بعد رحيل السويسري رينيه فايلر لأنه لاعب مجتهد ومخلص، وسيكون له دور مع موسيماني وسيجدد مع الاهلي”.

وأتم: “عودة وليد أزارو مهمة للفريق خاصة في ظل رغبة الاهلي في ضم مهاجم جديد، فيجب استغلال المهاجم المغربي وقدراته”.

Leeds United maintained their charge for automatic promotion to the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over strugglers Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night.

Of course, they could give their promotion credentials an even bigger boost with victory over Sheffield United at Elland Road on Saturday.

The Blades are also in the thick of the Championship promotion race, and this weekend’s clash could be a season-defining encounter for both clubs.

Marcelo Bielsa will be desperate to guide the Whites to victory over the Bramall Lane outfit, and will know that his side have what it takes.

However, the recent 3-1 defeat at the hands of fellow title-chasers Norwich City may still be in the back of the minds of the Leeds squad.

28-year-old centre-back Pontus Jansson is clearly optimistic though, as the 20-cap Sweden international has taken to Twitter to urge the Elland Road faithful to arrive early, in their droves, to support the team.

تستعد الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم للاستئناف بشأن قضية منير الحدادي واللجوء للمحكمة الرياضية الدولية “CAS”، بعد قرار الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا”.

وكان “فيفا” رفض الطلب الذي تقدمت به الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم، بخصوص انضمام الحدادي لـ منتخب المغرب.

وهناك قانون جديد أصدره “فيفا” بعد اجتماعها مؤخرًا بخصوص إمكانية تغيير اللاعبين لمنتخبهم الحالي لمنتخب آخر.

وأسند “فيفا” قراره بشأن الحدادي إلى بند بالقانون الجديد متعلق بفئة أقل من 21 سنة، حيث شارك اللاعب في 3 مباريات مع المنتخب الإسباني تحت 21 عامًا، وهو يزيد عن ذلك بشهرين المدة التي يسمح بها عادة في المشاركة بهذه الفئة.

القرار لم يستند لمشاركة الحدادي مع المنتخب الأول لإسبانيا ولذلك قررت الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم، اللجوء للمحكمة الرياضية الدولية.

من جانبه علّق الحدادي عبر حسابه الرسمي على “تويتر”: “أنا لا أستسلم وسأواصل العمل لارتداء هذا القميص وتمثيل المنتخب المغربي”.

Celtic have been hugely impressive in recent times, other than failing to secure all three points against Aberdeen, as they find themselves in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup and they’re leading the way in the Scottish Premiership. 

Many fans will agree that Neil Lennon has done a solid job since taking the reigns from Brendan Rodgers on an interim basis, but it remains to be seen as to whether he’ll receive the permanent job at the end of the season.

Of course, securing the treble would be hard to ignore.

But, a change of management doesn’t appear to have brought transfer speculation to a halt, as according to the Daily Star, Celtic are interested in signing Ayr United’s Lawrence Shankland, who could be available on a free.

Celtic have chopped and changed things at the pinnacle of the attack in the current campaign, with the likes of Odsonne Edouard, Michael Johnston, Timothy Weah, Oliver Burke and Vakoun Issouf Bayo all swapping around.

Although, many Celtic fans will agree that their side are still yet to find the perfect replacement for Moussa Dembele who left for France back in the summer transfer window. Indeed, the Frenchman was prolific during his time at Parkhead as he established himself as a hero by scoring 51 goals in 94 appearances.

However, Celtic may have found the man to replace him in the form of Lawrence Shankland. The 23-year-old has produced an incredible 31 goals and eight assists in all competitions, which includes nine goals in six Scottish League Cup appearances. He may not have had the chance to prove himself in the Scottish Premiership as of yet, but if he can produce half as many as he’s scored this season in the top-flight then Celtic would be laughing.

Arsene Wenger only left Arsenal a little under a year ago, but it feels like a lifetime since the Frenchman was at the helm. So much has changed at the Emirates since his departure, with Unai Emery coming in and really turning a corner. 

On the field, Arsenal are back in contention for a top-four finish, and that speaks volumes about how far the Gunners have come, but a recent report from the Independent gives perhaps the best idea of the progression that Arsenal are currently enjoying.

According to the Independent, Samuel Umtiti, of Barcelona, and David Alaba, of Bayern Munich, are the two main names on Arsenal’s summer transfer list, with up to five signings apparently wanted by Unai Emery.

Whilst Arsenal signed big players under Arsene Wenger, they were few and far between, and they largely only came as a result of a major sale or, alternatively, they took up the vast majority of the resources at any given time. For example, Mesut Ozil was the only player signed for over £1 million during the 2013/14 season (as per Transfer Markt).

Arsenal rarely looked towards some of Europe’s best, but now that’s changing. Both Alaba and Umtiti, in particular, are amongst the best in the world in their respective positions. As a result, Arsenal will be looking at spending big if they want to land them; yet that doesn’t appear to be putting them off.

That’s clearly indicative of a change in approach from the Gunners, and it highlights how much growth they’ve had under Unai Emery.

A team that was happy to settle for the top-six or top-four wouldn’t be willing to spend big to land such huge names. However, the Gunners clearly are looking higher than before, and if they’re to get back in the title scene in England, they recognise the need for spending.

The growth is remarkable, and when you consider how quickly it has come, you can only wonder how much more is going to come.

أكد جواد الزيات رئيس نادي الرجاء المغربي، أنه لا يعد جماهيره بالفوز ببطولتي دوري أبطال إفريقيا وكأس الأندية العربية خلال الفترة المقبلة.

الزمالك يستعد لمواجهة الرجاء يوم الأحد المقبل في المغرب بذهاب دور نصف نهائي البطولة القارية.

كما يواجه الرجاء نادي الإسماعيلي ضمن منافسات نصف نهائي البطولة العربية والتي تم الإعلان عن استئنافها من جديد.

وقال الزيات في تصريحات صحفية عبر موقع البطولة المغربي: “أمسكنا بزمام الأمور في ظروف يشوبها ضغط كبير، ومنذ بداية كأس الكونفدرالية، كنا مطالبين بتقديم الإضافة بأسرع وقت”.

وتابع: “تمكنا من تحقيق لقبين في الفترة الماضية، وحسمنا اللقب الثالث (الدوري المغربي) يوم الأحد الماضي”.

وواصل رئيس الرجاء: “أشكر كل من تدخل في هذا العمل، من لاعبين وطاقم فني وطبي وإداري، ورغم أنني لا أعد الجماهير بالتتويج، إلا أننا سنعمل ما بوسعنا لتحقيق لقبي دوري أبطال إفريقيا والبطولة العربية”.

واختتم: “لعبنا 111 مباراة في موسمين وهذا رقم غير مسبوق على المستوى المحلي، وأظن أن التتويج باللقب سيعطي دفعة معنوية للاعبين من أجل التتويج بالبطولتين المتبقيتين”.

أعلن الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف”، عن اختيار مصر لاستضافة مباراة نهائي بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا، للنسخة الجارية، وذلك خلال القرعة التي أقيمت صباح اليوم الجمعة.

وانطلقت فعاليات قرعة تحديد ملعب نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا في تمام الساعة الحادية عشر والنصف صباح اليوم بتوقيت القاهرة، العاشرة والنصف صباحًا بتوقيت المغرب.

ووضع الاتحاد الإفريقي 3 سيناريوهات لبطلي المباراة النهائية، وهي أن يكون النهائي بين فريقين مصريين والثاني أن يكون طرفي النهائي بين فريقين من المغرب، والسيناريو الثالث أن يكون بطل من مصر وآخر من المغرب، وفي هذه الحالة ستستضيف مصر المباراة النهائية، بعدما وقع عليها الاختيار في القرعة التي أجريت صباح اليوم الجمعة.

وقام الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف” بشرح الظروف الاستثنائية التي تُقام بها البطولة هذا العام، بسبب الإجراءات الاحترازية لتجنب انتشار فيروس كورونا، الذي أدى إلى توقف نشاط كرة القدم في العالم لأكثر من 3 أشهر قبل استئناف المنافسات الرياضية مرة أخرى.

Bournemouth might have suffered a slip-up of sorts in February – the Cherries conceded goals for fun and lost three games that month – but they still look on course to challenge for a top-half spot as we enter the run-in. With stars like Nathan Ake, Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson, the Vitality Stadium outfit have the quality to make any teams’ lives difficult.

Unfortunately, though, for Bournemouth and the clubs below and just above them, keeping hold of your key men is always difficult when the top-six have near limitless funds to throw at the transfer market when the window opens.

Focus will soon turn to summer recruitment and the papers have already begun to churn out rumours and reports. Rumours that concern Bournemouth though are of no concern to boss Eddie Howe, who has shut down any talk of transfer speculation:

“We are in the middle of the season and it is not the time, especially with players who are very settled and in good form, for me to necessarily talk about transfer speculation regarding them.”

Ake has impressed since signing from Chelsea and is now regarded as one of the best young centre-backs in the game, while the aforementioned forwards have also been subject to speculation over the international break.

Bournemouth spent fairly well last summer, with additions such as David Brooks and Jefferson Lerma proving worthwhile purchases this campaign, and the Cherries faithful will be hoping that more players of that ilk come through the door ahead of the 2019/20 season.
